Gluten-Free Scone & Waffle Mix

Our gluten-free scone and waffle baking mix is handcrafted with our gluten-free flour blend that yields an unexpectedly light and tender bake.
BASIC SCONES
- 1 bag SCONE & WAFFLE BAKING MIX
- 1/2 c. cold butter
- 1 egg
- 2/3 c. buttermilk, cream or milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1. Place mix in bowl & add additional ingredients. Let rest 15 min. mix again.
2. Place dough into a round disk on parchment paper. Slice into 8 triangles.
3. Coat with cream and sanding sugar.
4. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-17 minutes.
Makes 8 scones.
GLUTEN-FREE WAFFLES
- 1 bag SCONE & WAFFLE BAKING MIX
- 1/3 c. oil
- 3 egg
- 1 2/3 c. buttermilk, cream or milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
1. Place mix in bowl & add additional ingredients. Let rest 15 min. mix again.
2. Scoop batter into hot waffle maker sprayed with oil
Makes 5 belgian waffles.
