Rand McNally Canning & Preserving (1976) is a book about home food preservation published by Rand McNally, an American publishing company known for creating maps and travel guides. This vintage cookbook was created in the 70’s when homesteading and back-to-basics living was popular. This book covers traditional methods for canning jams, jellies, along with freezing and preserving tips. Here is an original recipe for dutch apple butter.
